Sunrise Real Estate completes sale of Gothenburg logistics hub

European logistics investor, developer and asset manager Sunrise Real Estate has sold a 14,300 m2 logistics building near Sweden's Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.

This project, developed with Panattoni, involved replacing an older structure with a modern, fully-leased facility. An IT hardware and software distributor pre-leased the entire building before its completion in 2025.

The property is designed with strong environmental features, earning a BREEAM 'Excellent' certification. It incorporates reused materials, is ready for solar panels, and includes electric vehicle charging stations customised for the tenant.

Strategically located next to Route 40, a significant highway, the facility offers excellent access to both Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and the Port of Gothenburg, key transportation hubs in the region.

At the same time, we continue to invest in the Gothenburg region. This summer, we will complete a new facility in Mölnlycke, which is already partially leased. The region shows strong demand, and we see long-term potential here.”
