Commercial real estate developer Trammell Crow Company (TCC) has appointed Fabian Gerdon as VP – Development Investment.

Fabian Gerdon
Based in Düsseldorf, Gerdon will spearhead TCC's residential investment strategy and development efforts across Germany, marking the firm's expansion into the German residential sector.
In his new role, Fabian Gerdon will be responsible for establishing a dedicated residential platform for TCC in Germany. His focus will be on expanding the company's portfolio of purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and micro-living projects, managing the entire process from sourcing to capitalisation and execution of new opportunities. He will report directly to Max Moser in TCC's Düsseldorf office.
Gerdon brings extensive experience in real estate investment, strategy, and portfolio development to TCC. Before this role, he was head of Strategy & Investment Management at Cube Real Estate, where he established the Investment Management division, developed the company's digital strategy, and managed investor and joint venture relationships. He initially joined Cube Real Estate as chief of staff to the Founder and CEO.
Earlier in his career, Fabian held various investment positions at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. Starting in their European Graduate Programme, he advanced to investment analyst and then investment manager, overseeing acquisition and disposal processes in Germany.
Maximilian Moser, senior VP at Trammell Crow Company, said: “Fabian has a strong track record of shaping investment platforms and advancing new product strategies, which makes him a great fit for our ambitions in Germany. His experience across both entrepreneurial and institutional environments brings a valuable perspective to our residential growth plans, particularly as we strengthen our presence in PBSA and micro-living.”
Fabian Gerdon, VP – Development Investment at Trammell Crow Company, commented: “TCC’s commitment to the German market offers a remarkable foundation for developing thoughtful, future‑ready residential projects. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues and partners to bring forward schemes that respond to the evolving needs of students, young professionals, and urban residents across the country.”
