UK industrial investment set for stronger H2 as £1bn moves under offer 

Savills reports that more than £1 billion of UK industrial assets moved under offer in Q2 2026, signalling improving market momentum despite softer headline investment volumes in the first half of the year.

Total industrial investment reached £2.38 billion in H1 2026, down from £3.28 billion in the same period last year, but the advisory firm says the figures understate the strength of underlying activity.

Transaction numbers remained broadly stable, with 85 deals completing in H1, compared with 80 in H1 2025. Although deal count is still below pre‑pandemic levels, the average transaction size rose to £27.8 million, a 7% increase on the 10‑year H1 average. Savills attributes this to a buoyant portfolio market, continued appetite for larger‑scale opportunities and significant capital targeting the sector.
