ULI announces winners of 2025 European Leadership Awards

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has announced the winners of its 2025 European Leadership Awards.

These include Isabelle Scemama (European Leader Award), Simon Abboud (European Talent Award), and Ciaran Bird (Trish Barrigan Award for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).
These awards, presented at the ULI Europe Conference in London, acknowledge the significant contributions of these individuals to the real estate industry and their embodiment of ULI's mission.
Isabelle Scemama, global head of AXA IM Alts, is recognized for her overall leadership. Simon Abboud, program director, European Management Services at Hines, is honored as a promising young professional. Ciaran Bird, CEO of UK & Ireland Advisory Business at CBRE, is celebrated for his dedication to DEI.
Anne Kavanagh, chair, ULI Europe, commented: “These awards are a great platform for us to recognize and celebrate the impactful contributions of some of our industry’s most outstanding leaders during their careers. We are excited to celebrate this year’s recipients and their fantastic achievements.”

Beverley Kilbride of LaSalle Investment Management chaired the ULI European Leadership Awards jury, which also comprised Emily Bohill (Bohill Partners), Andrea Carpenter (Diversity Talks Real Estate), Rik Eertink (CBRE Investment Management), Karim Habra, Ariana Maass (Berlin Hyp AG), Haris Piplas (Drees & Sommer), Kari Pitkin, Olaf Schmidt (DLA Piper), and Lisette van Doorn (ULI Europe).
