Urban Partners, leveraging its NSF V Fund, and HIH Invest Real Estate have announced their third joint venture acquisition in Germany's logistics sector.

Hannover logistics
The latest addition is a logistics development located in Garbsen, Lower Saxony, which is already fully pre-let.
The project spans approximately 15,000 m2 of rental space on a 25,000 m2 and Urban Partners' NSF V Fund is primarily financing the project.
Construction of the logistics hall in Garbsen is slated to commence in the first quarter of 2026, with an anticipated completion and occupancy date by the end of 2026. The entire property has been secured with a long-term lease before construction.
This acquisition marks Urban Partners' tenth investment in the German logistics market, bringing their managed portfolio of logistics projects in the country to over 210,000 m2. The Garbsen purchase follows closely on the heels of other successful joint acquisitions with HIH Invest, including projects in Herten earlier this year and Bensheim in southern Hesse in the summer of 2025.
Situated within an established commercial and industrial area, the Garbsen logistics project offers direct access to the B6 federal highway, providing swift connections to the A2 and A352 motorways, which in turn link to the A7. Hanover Airport is accessible in under 20 minutes, and the Hanover-Lehrte freight transport centre is reachable in approximately 30 minutes.
Legal due diligence for the transaction was handled by Ashurst, while Drees & Sommer provided technical advice.
