Veidekke secures €90m office contract in Oslo

Scandinavian contractor Veidekke has been awarded a NOK 1.05 bn (€90 mln) contract by Norwegian urban developer Hav Eiendom.

The contract is for the construction of Fiskebrygga, an environmentally certified commercial building in central Oslo's Bjørvika area.
Located on Bjørvika's western waterfront, the Fiskebrygga office project will include ground-floor food and beverage services and office space for up to 1,500 people. The project aims to better connect Bjørvika with Vippetangen and Kvadraturen, transforming a previously uninviting area into an attractive destination for residents, workers, and visitors.
The building will span approximately 28,500 m2 over seven floors, plus a basement. The ground floor will feature commercial spaces and reception areas, while the upper six floors will be dedicated to offices. The project is targeting BREEAM-NOR v6 Excellent certification and will adhere to EU Taxonomy criteria.
Construction is scheduled to begin in November and is expected to be completed by autumn 2028.
