The five‑year bonds carry a fixed annual coupon of 2.03% and attracted strong demand from institutional investors.

The net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including potential acquisitions, expansions and redevelopment projects across Via Outlets’ portfolio of 13 premium fashion outlet centres in ten European markets. The issuance diversifies the company’s funding base and further strengthens liquidity following the acquisitions of Scalo Milano Outlet & More and The Outlet Stores Alicante in January 2026.

Via Outlets reported strong performance in the first half of 2026, with brand sales up 19.7% year‑on‑year and footfall rising 28.8%, supported by the newly acquired centres. Like‑for‑like brand sales increased 3.4%, while like‑for‑like gross rental income grew 7.3%. At mid‑year, the company held approximately €285 million in cash and had access to a €100 million unsecured revolving credit facility, with no debt maturities before August 2028.

In line with VIA Outlets’ Green Finance Framework, an amount equal to the net proceeds will be allocated to Eligible Green Projects. The framework is supported by a Second Party Opinion from Sustainable Fitch, which rated the Use of Proceeds and Annual Allocation and Impact Reporting as Excellent.

“Our debut in the Swiss franc bond market is an important step in diversifying our funding sources,” said Peter Stals, CFO at Via Outlets. “The strong investor demand reflects confidence in our performance track record and the success of our 3R strategy — remodelling, remerchandising and remarketing — delivered whilst maintaining a stable balance sheet. The capital raised gives us additional liquidity and flexibility to keep investing in the business.”

Johan Bergenthal, COO at Via Outlets, added: “For Via Outlets, 2026 has been a year of robust growth. We entered Italy with the acquisition of Scalo Milano Outlet & More, strengthened our position in Spain with The Outlet Stores Alicante, and opened the expansion of Landquart Fashion Outlet in April. With Landquart as one of our flagship centres, tapping the Swiss capital market is a natural next step. This issuance supports both our organic and inorganic growth strategies, and our core ESG values remain central to how we invest and create value.”

The bonds will be listed on SIX Swiss Exchange. BNP acted as Lead Manager. The bonds have been assigned a BBB+ rating by Fitch Ratings, in line with Via Outlets’ senior unsecured rating.
