WDP acquires five urban food logistics assets for €30m

WDP is investing €30 mln to enhance its food logistics network by acquiring five urban distribution centres across Belgium.

These sites, totaling 25,000 m² of lettable space on 75,000 m² of land, are fully leased for at least 10 years to food service providers.
Sligro, a major food service distributor in the Benelux region and a current WDP tenant, occupies four locations (Antwerp, Namur, Sint-Katelijne-Waver, and Wevelgem), while the remaining site in Evergem is leased to Horeca Van Zon, a Belgian family-owned business.
The transaction, completed via a contribution in kind, delivers a yield aligned with WDP's investment goals. 
Previously part of Metro's real estate portfolio and acquired in February 2025 by LCV Real Estate, these strategically located facilities offer excellent connectivity and support urban distribution, complementing WDP's existing network. 
The acquisition was funded by issuing 1,468,380 new WDP shares.

WDP’s portfolio exceeds 8 million m² and spans over 350 locations across Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Germany, and Romania.
