WDP (Warehouses De Pauw) has finalized a deal where they bought a large, automated warehouse from KDL (Kris De Leeneer) for €40 mln.

WDP Lokeren
Instead of paying cash, WDP issued new shares to KDL, a process called "contribution in kind."
This transaction is part of a larger €60 mln partnership established in April 2025. Besides the sale-and-leaseback of KDL's existing 25,000 m² high-bay warehouse (which can hold 46,000 pallets and is energy-efficient), WDP will also develop a new 18,000 m² warehouse for KDL in the same Lokeren industrial park, expected by the end of 2026. In the meantime, KDL will temporarily use another WDP facility. KDL will continue to operate from the acquired high-bay warehouse under a new 20-year lease agreement.
This deal significantly boosted WDP's equity in 2025 by €40 mln, contributing to a total equity increase of about €265 mln for the year. The new WDP shares issued to KDL represent a small portion (0.84%) of WDP's total shares and will be traded on Euronext stock exchanges by late September 2025.
WDP specializes in developing and investing in logistics real estate, with a portfolio of over 8 million square meters across various European countries.
