Dutch real estate investment company Wereldhave announced that Marcel Eggenkamp will be stepping down as the designated CFO.

Middenwaard Heerhugowaard - Wereldhave
After joining earlier this year, both Wereldhave and Eggenkamp determined that their long-term expectations for the role were not sufficiently aligned, leading to an amicable agreement to conclude his appointment. The Supervisory Board and CEO Matthijs Storm expressed their gratitude for his contributions and wished him well. Eggenkamp will ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities in the coming period.
Wereldhave has begun the search for a new CFO and will provide updates as they become available. In the meantime, Remco Langewouters, the Group Controller since 2018, will assume the CFO responsibilities to maintain continuity.
Matthijs Storm, CEO of Wereldhave, stated: “I would like to thank Marcel for his efforts and commitment during this past period. We have reached this decision in a constructive way and believe it allows both Wereldhave and Marcel to move forward.”
Marcel Eggenkamp added: “I appreciate the openness and professionalism of the discussions with the Board and management. Following our discussions, we jointly concluded that this was not the right long‑term match. I wish Wereldhave and its team every success in the period ahead.”
