Wereldhave proposes appointment of new CFO

Wereldhave N.V. has announced that its supervisory board will nominate Remco Langewouters as statutory managing director and chief financial officer, with the proposed appointment scheduled for 9 December 2026.

Langewouters has served as interim CFO since May 2026, following eight years as group controller at Wereldhave.

He brings extensive international financial and real estate experience, having previously held senior roles at Ventolines, Angelo Gordon and PwC, with a career spanning commercial real estate, renewable energy and distressed debt. His background includes a strong track record in financial strategy, corporate governance and auditing.

The Supervisory Board confirmed that the nomination aligns fully with Wereldhave’s remuneration policy, and the company’s Works Council has issued positive advice.

To formalise the appointment, Wereldhave will convene an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 9 December 2026.  Shareholders will be asked to approve Langewouters’ appointment as statutory managing director and CFO, with a term running until the Annual General Meeting in 2030.

The proposed appointment marks a continuation of leadership stability at Wereldhave as the company advances its strategic transformation and operational performance initiatives across its Dutch and Belgian portfolios.
