Zenzic Capital, an investment manager specializing in real estate credit and special situations, has announced that John Bigley has joined their team as a principal.

This appointment is set to enhance Zenzic's expanding capabilities in special situations and opportunistic credit.
Bigley brings over 30 years of experience in real estate and debt capital markets, having been a Chartered Surveyor since 1997. He previously spent nine years as a Principal at DRC Capital, where he managed deal origination, structuring, execution, asset management, and investor relations across Europe. His career also includes senior roles at Westimmo, Merrill Lynch & Co, and JP Morgan Asset Management.
Based in Zenzic's London office, John Bigley will leverage his extensive experience and network to source special situations and opportunistic credit deals throughout Europe. He joins a team that includes Steve Swallow, also a Principal and former partner at East Lodge Capital.
Established in 2014 by Nadine Buckland and Tom-Lloyd Jones, Zenzic provides debt finance across the UK and Europe, supporting various sectors such as logistics, student accommodation, residential, hotels, and leisure. In January of last year, Zenzic launched a £500 mln (€581 mln) strategy dedicated to UK purpose-built student accommodation, focusing on both existing properties and new developments.
